MASON DODSON

Born in Sacramento, educated in Santa Cruz, trained in Los Angeles, made in Boise.

Mason Dodson is a writer and director of film, music videos, and commercials. His work has played in the Sun Valley Film Festival, nationally on television and throughout the world in online ad spaces. He’s known for creating period piece films, often borrowing from decades of the past to create a period accurate world, or simply mirroring a vintage vibe. His experience as an art director and antique collector shines through all of his work as well as his time in front of the camera as an actor. As a Director he prides himself on being someone actors want to work with.

Whether it be narrative film, music videos or stylish commercial work Mason always brings his own signature flair.

He currently resides in Boise, Idaho with his partner C.J. and cat Obadiah (Obi) and works full time as a Writer/Director for New Visual Media.
